Maybe some booksellers don't want a manager or another bookseller walking in on them while making the call - want to be anonymous!!! If other stores are as busy as ours - both on AND OFF the floor, then you know there is no where to make a private call. They can't legally do anything to you for calling, but there are ways around that, as we all know. And who wants to have to go through that anyway....
