CRM SITUATION AT MY OLD STORE...

After looking for a long time, they finally hired one -and despite my manager's claims that they were going to get away from events, they have instead stepped them up, doing a MAJOR mass signing of local authors and planning, in February, to have an in-store FASHION SHOW!!! I'd been told repeatedly that was PROHIBITED, as were all non-book related events...

So my manager lied to me... so what else is new?

Speaking of Christmas decorations: The new CRM (who is a Band Booster at her children's school) has already signed them up to do Christmas wrapping... maybe I'm wrong, but couldn't that be construed as a conflict of interest?

Advice, anyone?
